Arvind Kejriwal: I am an anarchist ?

In Dharasana's civil disobedience movement led by sarojini naidu, people didn't raise their hands in defense against steel tipped lathis. They fell down replaced by other activists column but didn't follow the path of violence. They were true satyagrahis and lived a true protest against the then unruly government.

But today, I witnessed a great hypocrisy with the mask of Satygraha by one group who is part of the system making protest against the system and also claiming that they are following the path of the Satyagrahis for the security of women, people and society with so called peaceful protests such as throwing stones, breaking barricades, muscle engagement with police and abusing woman journalists only for vote bank politics.

Change is inevitable truth of the nature and always welcomed by civil society but it cannot come with the cost of what we learnt and preserved throughout our civilization. I believe in our constitutional institutions and also admit that most of them have been plagued by the evil corruption but I do believe that we should work for the revival of our institutions rather than destroying them.

One should introduce transparency, accountability, and enforce liability for responsibilities of public offices. One should bring reforms in our institutions for reducing distortions from the system. But if someone escapes from his responsibilities on the name of so called peaceful Dharna (satyagraha) is the true form of anarchy and we all should disapprove it as a citizen of our country.
